Pokemon X and Y Tips: Complete a Post-Game Quest, a Successfully Recreated Shiny Finder, and More Details on Pokebank
[UPDATE: Beware of the circulating Pokemon X and Y Instacheck hack--your opponent may know your Pokemon abilities and next moves.]
[UPDATE 2: For those who want to make the most of the Friend Safari, here's a useful tool that lets you do more than just access it.]
Have you finished Pokemon X and Y? If you think that's all there is to the game, there are other ways by which you can still enjoy the 6th generation Pokemon game.
For instance, Destructoid suggests that you make the most out of Friend Safari. Apart from being able to nab a few Shinies, as some of the players have stated in forums, you can also meet friends, either those in your own list or by joining Pokemon communities and meeting fellow Pokemon X and Y gamers.
Gaming news that you can look forward to: Rumoured Game of Thrones from Telltale and a follow-up to Batman: Arkham Origins by Rocksteady.
There's also such a thing as a post-game quest, where you can basically unlock the Looker questline, which is a series of detective cases, and what is said to be the last official part of Pokemon X and Y. Check out Destructoid's link above for the full details on how to get to this quest.
You can also get all the 454 Kalos Pokemons while also looking for Shiny Pokemons. Of course, this requires trading more than just capturing, or you can also try nabbing Shinies with the Pokemon X and Y automatic Shiny Finder, a device that you can create in your own home.
iOS apps that you should be aware of and get ready for: GTA San Andreas, Doctor Who: The Legacy, and more.
The automatic Shiny Finder recreated
Remember the Automatic Shiny Finder that made waves in Reddit and among Pokemon X and Y players? Though it has received both approval and disapproval from fans--some think it's a brilliant idea to get Shinies, while others felt that it took away the thrill of a Shiny capture--it has proven to be a pretty brilliant as far as mechanisms go.
And while the original Redditor dekuNukem had not advertised any plans to create the Automatic Shiny Finder and sell them off, dekuNukem's YouTube page actually contains most of the details of what you need to do to create one of your own.
And recently, another Redditor, rockinout69, had attempted and successfully recreated the Automatic Shiny Pokemon Finder.
Check out a snapshot of his creation here. So this is a pretty good proof that you can create one yourself by following the original video that shows off the functions of the contraption.

Pokemon X and Y and the Pokemon Bank in detail
The Pokemon Bank seems to be a very useful tool for long-time fans of Pokemon games, mostly because you can look forward to having your own storage for your pokemons from all the games that you have so far, including Pokemon X and Y.
In fact, according to the official Pokemon X and Y website, you can store up to 3,000 pokemons in the Pokemon Bank as there will be 100 boxes holding 30 pokemons each. Of course, keep in mind that there were instances of getting Bad Eggs in Pokemon X and Y, so be sure to not mix that in when you use the Pokemon Bank--though there has not been any word on whether how the Pokemon Bank can handle these kinds of glitches.
The main advantage of the Pokemon Bank is that you can move a lot more Pokemon X and Y pokemons and move pokemons only one at a time. With this new feature, you can now transfer many pokemons at once without the need for two game systems.
You can also make use of the search function to find the one you're looking for, which is usually especially if you've already deposited a lot of them.
Sadly, you still can't transfer pokemons from older games to the Pokemon X and Y even when using local communications between the two game systems.
In addition to this, those who may have obtained their pokemons in a less than legitimate way may not have a clear answer as to whether or not these legalities can be spotted by Nintendo. As in the guide, Nintendo did not reveal what kind of checks will be conducted when you use the Pokemon Bank for Pokemon X and Y, but they do advise that you enjoy and play Pokemon X and Y "the correct way" as per the manual.
