Pornhub Seeks To Raise $3.4M Via Indiegogo Campaign To Fund X-Rated Film In Space
In 2013, adult film actress Coco Brown, who was training with in The Netherlands with Space Expedition Corp for space travel, promised not to make porn movies in space. She appears to have kept her vow, although still makes porn movies on Earth such as the film titled “Beautiful ebony f***ed by workers” that was posted in RedTube in 2014.
In the porn site Hotmovies.com, Brown has 42 videos, but the latest was the 2013 flick “Ebon P***y Pals #3. Brown, who was first known as Honey Love, apparently has slowed down on her porn career to fulfill her dream to become the first adult star and second African-American woman to fly into outer space, Brown also had to secure a pilot’s licence and undergo air and spacecraft mechanics training, according to the porn portal.
However, after two years, Pornhub, producer of X-rated movies, announced its plan to shoot porn flicks in space. To fund that venture, the firm turned to crowdfunding site Indiegogo to launch a campaign to raise $3.4 million for the movie.
If Pornhub would be able to raise that amount, it plans to send two porn stars and a crew in a shuttle to film a porn movie in space by late 2016, reports Gizmondo. The bulk of the cost is to pay for the seats on a private spacecraft, create stain-proof spacesuit and to bring camera equipment and lights that could work well outside Earth.
Under Indiegogo’s fixed funding option, Pornhub would get the money if it raises the full amount of $3.4 million. Otherwise, the crowdfunding site would return the money to donors. Pornhub hopes to attract sufficient donations by dangling as reward a Certificate of Endorsement for those who would donate $1, a swag bag with a Pornhub Space Programme for donations worth $100, an invitation to the party that would launch the sex tape valued for $10,000 donors and a spacesuit and underwear worn only once by the sextronaut, for $150,000 donors.
The movie will eventually be posted at Pornhub.com where porn lovers could indirectly support the venture by paying to download the X-rated movie shot in space.
