'Power' Season 3 episode 9 preview: James to get a 'history lesson'

Starz has released a preview video of “Power” Season 3 episode 9 online. Things are heating up for James as the show heads towards the finale. The video shows the problems the protagonist faces, as well as his big plan in action.

James (Omari Hardwick) continues to face problems on multiple fronts. In the previous episode he realised that he couldn’t trust his best friend Tommy (Joseph Sikora). The preview video of episode 9 shows Tommy telling his old friend that the former had chosen him over Holly (Lucy Walters). Now, apparently it is time for James to return the favour.

Tommy was tempted by Milan (Callan Mulvey) after the villainous character gave him an important position in the drug distribution racket. Milan had pointed out that Tommy could only grow if he stepped away from James.

While James prepares to deal with Milan and a possible betrayal by Tommy; there is another big problem that he isn’t even aware of. Kanan (50 Cent) will continue to target James’ son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) in “Power” Season 3 episode 9.

In the previous episode Kanan almost killed Tariq, but stopped at the last minute after he came to know that the boy hates his father. The preview video shows Dre (Rotimi) asking Kanan what the latter means when he says that he will give James a “history lesson.”

Tasha (Naturi Naughton) is concerned about her husband. She is on the phone telling someone to find out about what James is up to.

Meanwhile, James’ plan against Milan will begin to unfold in “Power” Season 3 episode 9. Ruiz (Luis Antonio Ramos) will where a wire to a meeting for Agent Greg (Andy Bean). The drugs distributor is aware that he could lose his life if he gets caught during the meeting.
