'Pretty Little Liars' Series finale 'Til DeAth Do Us PArt' recap: Spencer's evil twin sister Alex Drake is AD! Mona wins the 'A' game [VIDEOS]
"Pretty Little Liars" (PLL), starring Troian Bellisario as Spencer Hastings, Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, Sasha Pieterse as Alison DiLaurentis, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin and Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, finally aired the "PLL" series finale on Tuesday on Freeform. It revealed the real AD, which happens to look like Spencer. Read on to learn more about it.

Spencer meets her evil twin, Ezra goes missing on his wedding day
Spencer finally met her twin sister Alex Drake, aka "AD." She was supposed to meet Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) in jail but Mona (Janel Parrish) suddenly attacked her while she was at Toby's (Keegan Allen). While preparing for his wedding to Aria, Ezra (Ian Harding) mysteriously disappeared. As for Emily, Alison proposed to her, and she happily accepted.
The real AD's revelations
Alex told Spencer how she met Wren (Julian Morris) and Charlotte (Vanessa Ray). She also revealed how she got close to Charlotte. That was why she came to Rosewood to avenge her death. She enumerated the reasons she has been torturing the girls. She also revealed how she has successfully impersonated Spencer in some occasions and how she killed Wren.
Meanwhile, Mary Drake told Spencer how she let go of Alex when she was a baby. She hoped that Alex would live a good life in England. Unfortunately, things weren't as good for Alex as it was for Spencer.

It turned out that Ezra was holed up in the same underground bunker where Spencer and Alex were staying. However, they couldn't tell the twins apart by just looking at them. Toby was forced to point a gun at both girls. He tested them to see who the real Spencer was. Toby asked the twins to recite Spencer's favourite poem. It was from a book that she gave Toby. Of course, the real Spencer was able to recite the poem. Alex was eventually arrested.

Peace in Rosewood
With AD arrested, Rosewood and its residents are now at peace. Ezra and Aria finally got married. Meanwhile, Hanna announced that she and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) are expecting a baby. Aria also told her friends that after her honeymoon with Ezra, they will visit an adoption agency. After celebrating their triumph and freedom, they eventually bid each other goodbye as they set out for their separate journeys.
Mona wins the 'A' game
As for Mona, it was revealed at the end of the episode that she has settled in Paris to run a doll shop. She has also imprisoned Alex and Mary Drake, dressing them up as dolls and beating them in their own deadly and twisted game once and for all.
'A-List Wrap Party'
After the two-hour "PLL" series finale, the "A-List Wrap Party" was aired at 10/9 c on Freeform. It showed the "Pretty Little Liars" cast with showrunner I. Marlene King revealing behind-the-scenes tidbits about the show, favourite moments and the deepest secrets of the characters.
