After so many woes from fans following the release of the big PS4 2.0 firmware update, Sony has immediately released the PS4 2.01 firmware update to get rid of the Rest Bug that has plagued a lot of players. But after that, it seems like the company felt hat there needed to be more improvements on the 2.0 and 2.01 versions, as Sony quietly released another update.

Dubbed the PlayStation 2.02 firmware update, this now brings in a few more improvements to the next-gen console. PushSquare notes that it has enhanced the messages section of the device, as well as making the OS of the PS4 boot very fast.

Speed improvement in the messaging section was also spotted, which got rid of stuck threads in the system, as the report states. This include all of the previously slow functions, such as sending, deleting and receiving messages. However, there are still some lags when the PS4 is operated during peak hours, though there is an improvement in any case.

Another improvement to be noted is in the "Dragon Age: Inquisition" title, which had issues with the PS4 that would usually result in lock-ups or corrupted save files. According to VG 24/7, the freezes in the game had been caused by the PS4 2.0 firmware update, with the 2.01 version failing to fix it.

Now, those playing the game need not worry, as EA has already reported that the issues have been identified and addressed by Sony's PS4 2.02 system update.

In related news for the PS4, Sony has announced new titles, specifically indie games, that will be lined up for hands-on play at the PlayStation Experience in December. A recent blog post via the PlayStation Blog announces the titles of the following games: "Armikrog," "The Banner Saga," "Kyn" and "Toren."

All of the titles are under indie publisher Versus Evil, and according to Sony, the titles will be available by 2015. Below is a quick background of the games:

- Armikrog: A stop motion clay animation video game from the minds of those who created "Earthworm Jim and the Neverhood."

- The Banner Saga: This title actually already has awards before it even debuts on the PS4. A strategy turn-based game on Vikings, "The Banner Saga" features 2D animation that already has a second chapter in the drawing board.

- Kyn: This is a tactical RPG that also takes elements from the Vikings.

- Toren: A mix of puzzles and adventure, where you'll be playing as a young girl who fights enemies in order to reach the Toren tower, "Toren" is a dark fantasy adventure.

As part of the hype and pomp before the PlayStation Experience, Sony has recently released a new trailer, this time focusing on the PS4. Spotted by DualShockers, the video is pretty short, but in the span of 30 seconds, you can easily see some of the upcoming games including "The Tomorrow Children" and "Bloodborne."

The trailer pretty much reminds viewers that you can get all the fun in gaming. It's also a reminder that there will be firsthand hands-on experience with the games, as well as the fact that there will be 400,000 feet of everything PlayStation related at The Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas on Dec. 6 and 7. Check out the video below to get pumped up yourself.
