Microsoft's Xbox One may put gaming and entertainment on the same level and playing field, but the PS4 isn't far behind when it comes to the entertainment apps that it will be launching with.

In a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, Phil Rosenberg, senior vice president for Business Development of Sony Computer Entertainment America, revealed that there will be 13 digital entertainment apps coming to the console.

"PlayStation is dedicated to giving our fans the best entertainment options on our platforms and we're proud to share the following services will be available on PS4 starting November 15.

These 13 apps include Amazon Instant Video, multiplatform TV network Crackle, Japanese animation source Crunchyroll, streaming source EPIX, Hulu Plus, NBA Game Time, Netflix, NHL GameCenter LIVE, Redbox Instant by Verizon, VUDU, Indian TV channel source YuppTV, and Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited.

All of these apps can be found in the PS4's TV & Video section on the home screen or in the PlayStation Store. Sony has also hinted that there are definitely more to come, and updates will be released as the apps become confirmed.

PS4 trailer shows what's inside the console

As the PS4 release date comes nearer, Sony rolls out another reminder of its next-gen console, this time in the form of a new trailer that shows off the inner mechanisms of the PS4.

Spotted by CVG, the teardown video of the PS4 is an official trailer hosted by Yasuhiro Ootori, Sony's engineering director. Some gamers who are just all about the games and not much on the hardware as well as other casual gamers may not be all that interested in all the knobs, wirings, and connections lying in the belly of the PS4 beast.

But those who want to delve into processors and drives will find this teardown to be very helpful, as you'll get the details straight from one of the guys who are familiar with the console and know from top to bottom and all angles.

2 more PS4 games confirmed at launch

Starting November 15, those who have preordered the PS4 are likely to be very busy with all of the games that will be available for launch.

Two more games have been confirmed to update the overall list of PS4 games that will be come with the console's launch.

According to Joystiq, Blacklight: Retribution and Trine 2: Complete Story have been added to the PS4 game launch list. However, two more titles were slashed out, Tiny Brains and Pinball Arcade.

Blacklight: Retribution comes from Zomie Studios, and is a game that makes use of the free-to-play game that makes use of micro transactions for additional content. In an interview with Gaming Bolt, director Jared Gerritzen said, "Since we are our own publisher for Blacklight on the PlayStation 4, we are in control of our own pricing, so we can offer our players benefits and deals unique to the PlayStation 4. We also changed the pricing drastically to allow true micro-transactions."

The other PS4 game, Trine 2: Complete Story, is a side-scroller puzzle adventure from Frozenbyte.
