PS4 News: 2 Software Problems Spotted; Netflix iOS and Android App Controls PS4 Netflix App; PlanetSide 2 Update
It seems that both next-gen consoles Xbox One and PS4 experience their share of issues and errors. This time, the PS4 has recently been spotted with two more errors, both of which are software related, compared to the Xbox One, which has experienced a number of hardware issues.
The first software error, reports WCCF Tech, appears when some users attempt to access the PlayStation friend list. The error appears as CE-34861-2, for those who may be experiencing the same problem.
The other error is dubbed CE-34878-0 and appears when users attempt to access the PlayStation Playroom. It seems that this is not a very common error compared to the others that have been found so far.
According to the report, the symptoms of the CE-34878-0 error includes console crashes every 10 minutes and continually getting the error code even after re-installing the certificates and games as well as re-building the system, as what one user has done.
What players can do is call the support or the store, and there is a big chance that they will get a new PS4.

Control PS4's Netflix App with iOS and Android Netflix
Another good tip find over at Reddit involve the PS4 Netflix app and either an iOS or Android Netflix app.
Redditor waltduncan has posted that gamers can easily control their PS4 Netflix app using any of the two mobile app versions. Originally, only the iOS version of the Netflix app was found to succeed with this new feature, but some of the commenters of the Reddit thread have also tried it with the Netflix Android app with good results.
According to waltduncan, those who want to try this out should follow a few simple steps to set-up the command. First, make sure that Netflix apps are connected to the same router or network before launching the apps on both the mobile device and PS4.
Find the Wi-fi symbol (a rectangle) on the Netflix iOS app, and from there, select the PS4 as a selectable device to be able to control the PS4 Netflix app from a mobile device. The post states that users can browse categories, pause or play videos, choose audio and subtitles, skip back, stop playback, back out of the play controls, browse even with a video playing and return to controlling from browsing.
*Aside from the games you have to watch out for, there are also a number of games that are rumoured to come out this year. Check out which are included in this list here.
"I accidentally stumbled across this feature of the Netflix app, so I thought I'd share. (If you are like me, you've been lost since there currently isn't a Harmony remote solution for the PS4)," said waltduncan.
'PlanetSide 2' for the PS4 is One of the Best Versions
Among the upcoming games for the PS4 in 2014, "PlanetSide 2" is high up on the list---and it's not only because it is a free-to-play game.
Shacknews reports that one of the good points of the upcoming game is that it is already PC quality when compared to the existing PC version.

Matt Higby, producer at Sony Online Entertainment, described it as "nearly identical to the PC version, with the exception of the user interface."
The report adds that the best difference for the PS4 version is the integration of the DualShock 4 touchpad into the game, which brings the next-gen experience even closer to the way gamers would play it on the PC.
