Just as promised, developer Warner Bros. Games Montreal, responsible for "Batman: Arkham Origins," has given the anticipated announcement before the year rang in.

Though many have speculated possible news on the next "Batman: Arkham" game (rumoured to be a sequel from "Batman: Arkham" veteran developer Rocksteady), the announcement involves a new story DLC.

"All-new STORY DLC coming in 2014!" posted the announcement over at "Batman: Arkham's" official Facebook page.

Another possible clue to the story DLC involves an invitation to the Humanitarian of the Year Awards, which will be held at Wayne Manor on New Year's Eve. The "Batman: Arkham" Facebook page features a photo of the invitation, which you can check here.

Many fans have speculated that this may be a DLC that will see Alfred play a more or less main role in. This is not surprising, considering that previous reports regarding the story DLC has hinted at the exploration of key relationships in "Batman."
