PS4’s Red Light of Death Seen, Amazon Lowers Sony's Next-Gen Bundle Prices?
Slight panic hit Sony fans as the next-gen version of what has been known as the PS3's Yellow Light of Death started to circulate online. First spotted by Videogame Scene, the image shows off what appears to be the PS4 with a red line of light on it.
In the report, the image was said to be taken from one of the demos for the PS4. But it also states that, while this PS4 console had been warm, the red light had disappeared after taking it out of the acrylic case in which it was enclosed in.
Apparently, after this was done, the PS4's error message concerning the temperature of the console had disappeared, and the line of light returned to its blue state.
In response to fan queries, Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide boss, said in his Twitter that the red line of death is not true. Rather, it can be seen merely as a warning that overheating may be near. Of course, given the conditions wherein the red line was spotted, the fact that it was enclosed in a space with no breathing room may have played a very big factor.

PS4's bundles now a bit cheaper with Amazon
If the alleged Red Light of Death doesn't scare you--undoubtedly, it's nothing to be scared of considering the two-second rest that it needed to get back in shape--you may want to still place your bundle orders, which are now cheaper through Amazon.
Videogamer has spotted a number of newly priced PS4 bundles on Amazon, with all six bundles coming in lower from anywhere between £5 and £20. This puts the prices at anywhere between $389 and $469.99 for the bundles.
The new PS4 bundles are the ones that have been officially announced by Sony, which include the game bundles featuring Killzone: Shadow Fall, Watch Dogs, Need for Speed: Rivals, FIFA 14, the PS4 Eye camera, and DualShock 4 controllers.
