Rayman Legends Get 30 New Levels, Disney Infinity Toy Box Brings New Gameplay Experience [VIDEO]
Who would've known that a delay can bring good results? Such is the case of Rayman Legends.
Granted, it was a two-time delay, and it resulted in a backlash of fans' fury when the game has been set for a September release instead (which is a whopping five months from now).
But Ubisoft Montpellier is hoping that fans would be happy to know that because of the extra time to tinker with the game, the developers have come up with 30 more levels.
"Trust me, the things we are adding aren't minor," said senior game manager Michael Micholic to Official Nintendo Magazine. "We're not talking about adding some polish here and there, but 30 new levels and several new bosses."
At least this time, when Rayman gets released in September, it will be for all platforms, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U.
Disney Infinity blends Disney worlds in Toy Box
Imagine Mr. Incredible side by side with Jack Sparrow and James Sullivan in the same game. Or smashing things with Wreck-It Ralph.
This is what Disney's Toy Box mode promises for you-and more. You'd be building worlds, creating your own game, letting your superheroes interact with each other, and playing with friends a game that you want to play.
For the starter kit, however, players will get to have characters from Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, and Pirates of the Caribbean, as shown in the trailer. It's a must-have for any Disney kid-at-heart through and through, according to TechnoBuffalo.
Game Informer adds that you can get the Disney Infinity Starter Pack, available starting August 20, at around $100 for the Xbox 360, the PS3, and Wii U, while those with 3DS and Wii can get it for $84.
Grid 2 goes multiplayer
Grid 2 is finally releasing its multiplayer mode, which is set to come out for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on May 31 in the UK.
According to EuroGamer, you'll be going through a different progression of events, focusing on exploration and customization of your Grid 2 experience.
"It's not a perks system," said Ross Gowing, senior game designer, to EuroGamer. "Because of the work we've done with the handling, it's about how players want to balance that to their own needs. It's up to them how they customize their car."
Computer and Video Games adds a couple more details that are featured in Grid 2, including 12-player online racing modes, 2 player split-screen racing, 10 events up for play, apps from RaceNet, customization and modification of vehicles, and YouTube uploads.
For the meantime, Grid 2 stays with current-gen consoles, but depending on how things and demand will go for the Grid 2, its developers are open to new possibilities.
