If rumours proved right, we'll get to see the real iPad 5 in a matter of weeks, showing off a revamped body-build on its September release date that is thinner, lighter and sexed up compared to the previous edition.

This iPad 4 successor, as visualised by gadget designer Martin Hajek, stays true to speculations offered by numerous analysts - a sight to behold and more so delight to grasp with an overall footprint that satisfies both environmental and ergonomic concerns.

The new iPad, according to the concept author, "would look more like a larger version of the iPad Mini," accentuated by the eye-catching narrow side edges.

The render maintains the 9.7-inch screen size, sandwiched by the slimmed down bezels on the left and right side that would the actual manufacture of a smaller iPad 5 without giving away an inch on the tablet's viewing window.

The top and bottom margins, however, eat up more space purportedly to accommodate the sensors and Home button respectively. No doubt, this iPad build "offers a smaller width, height and thickness, with the latter being achieved through a thinner display panel," Concept-Phones said.

It is understood that Apple is in the middle of collaborating with LG, Samsung and Sharp for the display technology that not only will allow the iPad 5 to emit a stunning Retina screen resolution but also to determine the tablet's final look. The panel is crucial in telling how thin and light this upcoming iPad would be.

Minimalism reigns in the concept from the control keys to the overall design as showcased by the overhauled volume rocker, stereo speaker and the Lightning port found at the bottom portion of the device.

Easily noticeable is the render had moved away from the signature slope seen in earlier iPad editions, Concept-Phones said.

Mr Hajek skipped on providing the specs for work but it is assumed that fifth-generation will draw its power from an A7 chip with quad-core speed, firing up the crystal-clear Retina display screen and the flood of killer features that are packed with the reengineered iOS 7.

Release date of the iPad 5 is pegged for the first week of September 2013, likely joining in a simultaneous launch with the iPhone 5C, known too as iPhone Lite, that was designed by Apple.
