New-LG-V10- press-render
A press render of the LG V10 has surfaced @evleaks

LG has just released its newest smartphone -- the LG V10 -- but only after details about the new mobile device were first leaked to social media by known Twitter tech tipster, Evan Blass.

According to Blass, the LG V10 will feature a second display on top of the usual one. Blass, more famously known as @evleaks, revealed what he claims is an actual render of the unit. Now that the unit’s out, it’s apparent his leak was spot-on.

The LG V10 boasts of a ticker display that offers its user shortcuts to some apps and notifications. It has an additional touch screen on top of its main screen. It’s this top strip that gives a user access to app shortcuts and in-unit tools.

News about the V10 actually first surfaced in early September. It was only later when the company started to tease the public with the smartphone's specs, however.

As revealed by Blass, LG's G series features the brand's signature rear power button, as well as volume buttons. The device's battery cover features either a carbon or diamond pattern. These designs are expected to provide users with a more secure grip on the unit's body.

Moreover, the last couple of years also paved the way for LG's curved G Flex line. That said, avid LG device users won’t be surprised whenever LG takes on a new venture to convince potential clients to switch from typical smartphone designs, as pointed out by CNET.

The Internet was abuzz when rumours about the device with two front cameras first came out. These picture takers will be located on the device's front, alongside its 5.7-inch touch screen display with its 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution. The LG V10 has a 16 MP primary camera located on its back while another 5 MP camera is located in both on its rear and front portions.

The LG V10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which may be expanded by a MicroSD card slot.
