A day after reports of the newly released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus bending when placed in the pants pocket came out, it spawned immediately a spoof page and comparison test.

iPhone 6 Bends When Owner Sits Down
The spoof page is found on the Web site imgur.com. It has an image of a curved iPhone 6 with the title Introducing Flex and the teaser "Apple's revolutionary patent aluminum alloy lets users create a more enjoyable viewing experience by molding the iPhone," reports CNET.
News of the bending phone led to claims that other phone models also have the same flaw. Cult of Mac cited the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S and models from Samsung, Sony, TC, Blackberry and Oppo as suffering from the same problem.
However, some staunch believers in Apple products think the reports are not true.
In the CNET comments section, Alex_Darkness wrote tongue-in-cheek, apparently comparing the iPhone to Superman: "I think the whole thing is a trick. Everyone know the iPhone 6s is indestructible (aluminum is the strongest metal on earth right). I bet they secretly stashed Kryptonite under the table for the videos. Everyone knows that the iPhone's one weakness is Kryptonite."
decodeDcode quipped it is Apple's way of replacing the wallet, and added, "By emptying them."
MargonTheGodless found the video of the bending phone incredulous, commenting, "amazing some guy was able to apply the 10lbs of force needed to bend the phone utilizing nothing but his hands?"
For Rufio_Rocco, the discovery of this flaw was inevitable, noting that "The new iPhone design (curved edges) was inviting trouble especially using a soft metal like aluminum."

Cult of Mac's claim that the flaw could be found in other phones was tested by Unbox Therapy host LewisHisenteger who put the iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to a pressure test. He discovered that the Samsung device made by Apple's main competitor from South Korea was stronger because it took a longer time to bend the gadget before it warped a little in the middle.
Here's the viral video of his experiment which got more than 1.7 million views in less than one day.
