Apple has opted to initially release the Retina iPad Mini 2 through its online store on Nov 12 and contrary to analysts' expectations, the small iOS 7 tablet seems easily accessible and sufficient stocks are likely available and ready to ship out, anytime and anywhere.

Still, the fear of possible stock outs continue to linger. Experts assert that the best thing that buyers should do now is reserved the model they've been planning to take as the rush in the coming days could easily deplete Apple's Mini 2 inventory.

And it is no secret that the second generation iPad Mini is not in abundance, at least for its Q4 013 availability, with the tech giant admitting that heavy demands during the holiday season could put pressure on the Mini 2's projected inventory.

In short, as Apple CEO Tim Cook has implied in one interview, there won't be too many Retina iPad Minis out there for this year's Christmas shopping festivities.

So this early, it's best to map out where and when to acquire the hot item that the iPad Mini 2 is.

Best Buy

For those seeking to quickly take home the slate, Best Buy appears to be the best option on hand. The giant U.S. retailer is reportedly selling the Mini 2 in the immediate hours after Apple's online store started accepting orders.

Yet according to Gotta Be Mobile, stocks have yet to arrive as of writing though Best Buy store clerks have reportedly confirmed that delivery from Apple is expected within Nov 13. The exact time of arrival, however, was not provided.

The same case seems prevalent on most Best Buy branches across the U.S., likely leading to the same scenario in which Apple pushed out the Mini 2 minus the usual buzz. The key here is constant monitoring of possible iPad outlets.

Verizon and major U.S. telcos

And one of the usual suspects would the giant telcos. One of them, Verizon, is offering the slate for $430, which is for a 16GB build and LTE-capable. The original price point was $530 but Verizon was generous enough to pack the Mini 2 with gift card bearing $100 value.

GBM also reported that the Verizon Mini 2 menu offers the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants with promise of next day delivery after the official availability date, which is Nov 25.

The Mini 2 will likely appear too on other major U.S. telcos like AT&T and T-Mobile but Verizon appears beating its rivals to the game. It is estimated that Verizon's delivery time period is a little faster, besting even Apple's advertised iPad Mini delivery period

Apple has set the waiting time to stretch as long as 10 days or more, which could mean that buyers will have to wait until the first week of December before unwrapping the freshly-minted iPad Mini 2. This is especially true for the 64GB and 12GB models with Wi-Fi and LTE radio signals.

Black Friday deals

Now if waiting isn't too much of a pain, experts stressed that getting the Mini 2 during the Black Friday week is the best time for procuring the slate. Already, big names like Best Buy, Target and Walmart have dangled their deal packages involving the original iPad Mini.

Throwing in the Mini 2 with these existing promo deals is not entirely impossible for these retailers so holding off a bit more for many buyers should get them significant savings while enjoying what analysts predicts as the hottest toy to come out this Christmas - to be relished by the young and adults alike.

With a super-crisp screen rendering, thanks to its Retina display panel, an A7 64-bit processing chip plus a slim and thin form-factor that retains the original's sizzling sex appeal, the iPad Mini is seen to equal or even exceed the popularity of its older brother.
