The Barbadian beauty however said that she would need “butt pads” for getting featured next to Lopez in the music video of that song. The two singers have lend their voices for the upcoming animated film “Home” where Lopez plays the mother to a teenage RiRi.
“I would need some butt pads for that video though. I mean, really? She's shutting down 20-year-olds at fortysomething. It's unheard of," RiRi is quoted as saying about Lopez in an exclusive interview with Extra. Rihanna, who plays a teenage girl in “Home,” was also all praises for her mother and said she had a “great experience as a teenager.”
RiRi also told the website that though her mother was very strict, she let her grow as an artist and let her learn from her own mistakes. The 27-year-old singer had her own phases as a teenager and was a “little rambunctious.” But looking back, Rihanna is happy that her “hands on” mother was there to guide her and let her experience the life.
Lopez also talked about the animated film “Home” in a separate interview with the website. The “American Idol” judge also performed the song “Feel The Light” from the film on one of the latest episode of “American Idol.” Lopez told the website that she felt “honoured” when Stargate asked her to sing “Feel The Light” song for the film. The “Waiting For Tonight” singer is excited to take her twins Max and Emme to see the film, which has a mother-daughter theme.
Lopez told the website that she is confident that her twins are going to love the film as they have heard the song. She is not sure if they are aware of the fact that she is also doing a voice in it. “Home” will see Rihanna play the part of a girl named Tip who is on a mission to find her missing mother (voiced by Lopez) as aliens invade the planet. The film releases in theaters on March 27.
