Does Robert Pattinson really want to get off his mind the Robsten romance drama involving former girlfriend Kristen Stewart? As Rob left Los Angeles early this week, reports claim that he is set to forget his relationship troubles as much as he is prepped to work for his latest movie, ‘Maps to the Stars’ in Canada.

But the question is, does the Twilight hunk really concern himself with Robsten romance as he embarks on a new project?

Rob was spotted exiting at the Pearson International Airport on July 17, 2013. He is in Toronto, Canada, to film his new project with David Cronenberg, Maps to the Stars. According to Yahoo! Movies, Robert is joining other film stars for their 30-day shoot in Canada.

Other stars in the Cronenberg project include Julianne Moore and John Cusack, Mia Wasikowska, Olivia Williams, Sarah Gadon and Evan Bird. Cusack and Moore have reportedly arrived in London early July to prepare for the one-month on-location shoot.

Maps to the Stars is co-financed by Entertainment One and Prospero Pictures. Robert plays the character of Jerome in the film, which takes a look at Hollywood and is expected to provide more revelations than expected about the Western culture.

The project aims at exploring the demons of the Western society, obsessed with celebrities. Following the Weiss family, led by Stafford (Cusack) who is a psychotherapist and life coach, known to make a fortune with self-help books. The film also involves an overbearing mother (Williams) and manager of a 13-year-old son (Bird). The teen son is a rising TV star who has his own shares of drug problems. Bird portrays the character of a teen star who had just gotten out of drug rehabilitation center.

But the problem did not stop from Bird. His sister (Wasikowska) also has a mental problem of her own. She was just released from a psychiatric hospital and found an interest in a limo driver (Robert Pattinson). Jerome, the limo driver, is also an aspiring actor.

These roles comprise the web of characters that make up the drama film written by Bruce Wagner. Filming was originally set in May 2013. But as earlier reported by IBTimes-AU in April 2013, the film’s production was rescheduled in July 2013. The film had begun making a buzz in the first quarter of this year as bloggers and news outlets began to see its promise.

Criterion Cast: “It’s about damn time this picture gets ready to go … the auteur will be joined by one hell of a cast. This sounds like yet another superb satire from one of today’s great satirists, and it’s interesting to see Pattinson re-team with his Cosmopolis director for another film.”

Entertainment Weekly: “For some directors, the more absurd the log line, the better the movie.”

MTV: “Cosmopolis” director David Cronenberg may have found his new muses. The auteur has just enlisted Robert Pattinson and his “Cosmopolis” co-star Sarah Gadon for his next project, “Maps to the Stars.”

The film is set to be released in the U.S. in 2014.

Meanwhile, the Robsten Romance continues to make headlines following the Robsten split in May. The news that Rob is dating Riley Keough, Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, refuses to die and the rumours continue flying around that they are indeed seeing each other.

Kristen was reportedly hopeful to make it work with Rob. But there’s nothing certain with the Robsten romance.
