News about Katy Perry finding new love with Florence + The Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd, has been spreading like wild fire, but not everyone knows how the two stumbled upon each other.

Many thought that it is expected for the two to meet in gigs, since they work in the same industry. However, it turns out that it was 'Twilight' heartthrob Robert Pattinson who introduced them to each other.

There were news then that Pattinson was linked to Perry before, but it seemed he was playing bridge for a friend. With the 'Part of Me' star seen doing all the PDA with her new guy, it has silenced all rumours revolving around the famous French model, Baptiste Giabiconi getting serious with her.

According to The Sun, Perry enjoys her single life the more after her divorce has been finalised. A close source of Perry said that while the two were spotted eating at Chateau Marmont, Ackroyd had his arms around the pop star while everyone else were talking over dinner. Everyone seems to be confident with things getting more serious for the relationship.

On the other hand, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were also seen taking things cosier in public during the same music festival that Katy Perry and Robert Ackroyd were seen attending.

Robert Pattinson seems to be not just good in getting the girl she likes, but also in helping his friends win the ladies they fancy.
