Robin Williams Tribute at Late Night with Conan O'Brien: Pierce Brosnan Shares Funny Work Experience with 'Mrs. Doubtfire' Co-Star [VIDEO]
Actor Pierce Brosnan made a guest appearance at the late-night talk show "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" where he paid tribute to his "Mrs. Doubtfire" co-star Robin Williams. The 61-year-old actor recalled in the show how Robin Williams was as a person as well as the work experience that they had in the 1993 comedy film.
During the interview, host Conan O'Brien asked Pierce Brosnan what it was like for him to work with Robin Wiliams. Brosnan shared that he was a fan of Robin Williams and actress Sally Field to which he had an opportunity to work with when he got the role of Stu in "Mrs. Doubtfire."
"It was a mighty experience. So for me to get that job in that particular space of time was just sheer magic," Brosnan revealed. The former James Bond actor further shared in the interview that Robin Williams made him laugh while they were filming the scene where Stu choked on a shrimp during dinner.
According to Brosnan, Robin Williams was so funny and totally foulmouthed when it comes to actress Sally Field's character in the film. "It was sexual innuendos, you name it," Brosnan shared.
The actor admitted that he had a hard time delivering his lines in that particular scene. However, Brosnan shared that he did his part as a supporting actor in the film and stuck to the script.
After sharing the funny moment with Robin Williams, Pierce Brosnan turned serious and remembered how he knew the Academy Award-winning actor. "He was a very generous and kind hearted human being," Brosnan stated. Have a look at the video below.
Meanwhile, a Mail Online report claimed that details on Robin Williams' death certificate reveal that the actor got cremated one day after his death last Monday, Aug. 11. Furthermore, the document stated that the ashes were scattered at the San Francisco Bay on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The death certificate details stated as well that there is still pending investigation on the actor's cause of death. Robin Williams, 63, died on Monday morning, Aug. 11, at his Tiburon, California home. The Marin County Sheriff's Office chief deputy coroner confirmed that the cause of death was asphyxia from hanging.
