A source close to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has confirmed that the Twilight lovers are “having difficulties” and new thorns are likely to put a line on their rosy love -- and if things get worst, the immortal lovers could be heading to splitville.

In an interview with E!News Thursday, May 16, a source revealed that the couple are indeed having some problems, affirming earlier reports released by IBTimes-AU and other news outlets that there’s a new bump on the Robsten Road of Romance.

Without providing so much details of what could be the cause of the fight - - leaving Kristen looking devastated and going to friends for help and to cry - - the source closed to the couple underscored that the latest love quarrel began with misunderstanding on their “priorities,” then reiterating that things are fine between the couple, just not “too peachy.”

"Priorities," the insider said, according to E!News Online, adding, "They are absolutely still together but are having some difficulties right now."

The same source had also denied earlier reports that Kristen and Rob have “visited splitville” once again, but underscoring “difficulties” get in the way of their loved-up reunion.

“But "they'll be fine. I do not foresee a split, they are just crazy in love. This is just another bump in the road," the source added.

Kristen Stewart was last seen snapped with friends in undated photos. Robert, on the other hand, was also seen alone, getting heavily drunk, as could be seen in photos taken when he was leaving Hotel Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood days in to his birthday on May 13, 2013.

This raised speculations that K-Stew didn’t want Rob drinking but worse, if they are disagreeing on more serious issues other than booze. The couple are seemingly not on the same page, and they have yet to be photographed together again. The last we saw of Kristen was her emotional self in a friend’s car while Rob’s sleep or drunk photo in his male friend car would also always comes to mind as the couple’s last memory of him before they were last seen together in public, again.

"He's been hanging out with the boys a lot, and she's been with her girlfriends," the source described the couple, adding, . "They seem to be living separate lives at the moment, I haven't seen her around at all."

Robert and Kristen have been inseparable since Rob returned to the U.S. from Australia in mid-March. They never spent time apart and were either together alone or with friends. They were either having intimate dinner together alone, or with friends but always with them as they attend concert of Rob’s BFF, Marcus Foster and his band. The couple was the envy of many as they got loved up at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival and things have never been better.
