Rock Band Weezer Returns to Australia After 15 Years [VIDEOS]
After such a long time, Weezer gets their fans thrilled with the news that they are set to return Down Under and in New Zealand by next year.
As stated in their official website, the rock band has confirmed that it has been 15 years since they last visited Australia.
"There's been a lot of roadblocks tossed in the way over the years, but we have finally cleared the road... er, flightpaths... and are absolutely thrilled to finally return to the ancient and goodly Land of Down Under!" the band added.
The four piece rock band will be in Australia by January 13 but will first hit up New Zealand on the 11th of the same month next year. They are set to play at Auckland's Vector Arena.
For the younger generations who are not so familiar anymore with this iconic rock band, Weezer was formed in 1992 in LA. Its members are Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Scott Shriner and Brian Bell. Their lineup though has been altered for about four times since the 90s. In total, they have released nine albums that are all full length along with a DVD and six EPs.
Their most successful singles include 'Island in the Sun,' 'Buddy Holly,' 'Beverly Hills,' and 'Say It Ain't So.'
