Ronan Keating will always be remembered for being the main man of the popular boy band of the past called 'Boyzone.' Now, this gorgeous face and voice is back to be a judge on 'The X-Factor Australia' and will be a part of his first ever movie to act in.

Last September, Keating even participated in a relay race where he swam for 90km right across the Irish sea. It lasted for about 35:18 just to raise some money for the funding of the Cancer Research Britain and the Marie Keating Foundation. The singer's own mother also died of breast cancer at the young age of 54.

Now that he's all dry and ready for some work again, Keating is set to tour Australia along former member of the band 'The Corrs,' Sharon Corr right at the end of January. He will be playing in various states and he only has good times to look forward to for he has enjoyed his stay before in the land of down under.

It was about working with legendary music producer and pianist Burt Bacharach the last time he was in Australia. The artist admitted that he was greatly intimidated especially when he was accompanied by the icon's 40-piece orchestra.

Keating's Aussie fans can expect a lot of heartbreaking songs from the singer with 'Songs for my Mother' in commemoration of his mother's death; and there's 'Brother' as a tribute to former band member and friend Stephen Gately.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the singer reveals that music has always been his way of releasing his emotions and being able to share it with everyone. He is now working on a brand new album and will be seen in the coming movie 'Goddess' that will hit the big screen within the year.

The movie is of the romantic comedy genre and stars Laura Michelle Kelly and also Magda Szubanski. Keating plays the role of a dad who has to take care of the kids.
