Samsung has released a new Galaxy Note 4 commercial. It claims that the new 5.5 iPhone 6 Plus phablet was made to imitate the Galaxy Note phablet series.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 commercial showcases all the Note models that they have launched until now. The first hybrid of a smartphone and a tablet referred to as phablet was launched as 'Galaxy Note' by the South Korean tech giant in 2011.

With Apple releasing the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus this year, Samsung claims that it has taken three years for Apple to launch their first phablet. The Samsung Galaxy Note of 2011 featured a 5.3 inch HD screen along and came with a distinctive S-Pen stylus.

The new commercial released by Samsung highlights the productive features of the Galaxy Note 4 like multi-window that shows the screen divided into two parts with the user accessing Gmail on right side of the screen and viewing a movie on the other half of the screen.

Through the ad, Samsung claims that competitor brands are not dismissing the Galaxy Note models, but are rather trying to imitate them. It goes on to say that Apple may think it is a refresh idea to introduce a phablet, but they were excelling in the phablet segment since several years. The commercial ends with the message 'The Next Big Thing is HereTM' and 'October 2014' that indicates that the new phablet will be released in the coming month.

Mashable claims that new ad from Samsung has received both positive and negative feedback from the people. Since Sept. 9 when Apple revealed the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to the world, the South Korean tech giant has released couple of ads that poke fun at the newly launched products. Mashable adds that new ad the iPhone 6 Plus with its bigger screen lacks multi-tasking.

On Sept 3, Samsung had introduced the Galaxy Note 4 along with the Galaxy Note Edge. The latter features an extra portion of display on the right side of the phablet. As of now, both the models are unavailable for purchase. PhoneArena claims that the Galaxy Note 4 will be released in the first half of October.

On the other side, Apple has already started taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models. Both the handsets are sold out at the moment. The shipping process for pre-order of the iPhone 6 handsets have already started and they are expected to reach the customers on Sept. 19 as the release date.
