Samsung Galaxy A3 And Galaxy A5 With Dual-SIM/LTE Support Now Available In The US Via Expansys For $329 And $409
According to a recent report, the unlocked, SIM-free version of the Samsung Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 are now available in the U.S. These models can now be purchased from the online retailer Expansys USA.
When it comes to pricing, the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A5 will set the buyers back by $329.99 and $409.99, respectively. It is worth noting that Samsung has opted for a new design for the Galaxy A series of smartphones; hence, both handsets come with aluminium-clad construction. Readers should also note that upon purchasing the device online, Expansys USA will ship the handset free of charge, says Phone Arena.
As far as the specifications go, the Samsung Galaxy A3 features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display packed with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 410) processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 306 for graphics. Moreover, the handset is backed by 1 GB of RAM. On the software end, the Galaxy A3 runs on Android v4.4.4 OS out of the box.
The device is equipped with 8 GB of internal storage capacity and microSD card support for expansion up to 64 GB. There is also an 8 MP rear-facing camera unit and a 5 MP front-facing shooter. The A3 is available only in white at this point. Lastly, the device is housed with a modest 1,900 mAh battery unit.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A5 features a slightly bigger 5.0-inch Super AMOLED display, bundled with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. Under the hood, the processor unit and the OS of the A5 are similar to the Galaxy A3. Nonetheless, the handset is equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with microSD card support for expansion up to 64 GB. Furthermore, there is a 13 MP primary camera unit, in addition to a 5 MP selfie shooter. The entire configuration is held together and powered by 2,300 mAh battery unit. Notably, the Galaxy A5 comes in black and white colours.
