The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 has been launched in India after it was made official in China in March and Malaysia in June. It features a 4GB RAM, 5,000 mAh battery and an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with customized TouchWiz UI out-of-the-box.
The South Korean tech giant has given it a price tag of Rs. 32,490 (AU$642). Reports suggest that the smartphone will be available to all buyers from Sept. 26.
According to GSM Arena, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 sports a 6-inch Full HD display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution, Snapdragon 652 chipset, 32GB internal memory, 4GB RAM and a massive 5,000 mAh battery. Its 16MP rear shooter and 8MP selfie snapper takes decent photos. It’s available in black, white and gold colour options, weighs 210 grams and measures 161.7 x 80.9 x 7.9mm.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 has a separate microSD slot. Thus, users don’t have to choose between having a dual SIM or one SIM and microSD card. It is hard to differentiate the device from Samsung’s flagship devices though the phone does not have an LED notification light.
