Samsung Galaxy Camera: Is the Galaxy S3-Inspired Shooter the new Photographer’s Best Friend? [PHOTOS and VIDEOS]
South Korea-based tech giant Samsung recently unveiled an amazing camera, inspired by the Samsung Galaxy S3, powered by the latest Android Jelly Bean that will quickly become every photographer's favorite shooter.

The Samsung Galaxy Camera, which was revealed at the IFA Conference in Berlin, is a 16.3 megapixel shooter powered by 1.4 GHz quad core processor.
Some of the features of the camera are Wi-Fi, quad-band HSPA+ 3G or 4G mobile data network support for easy image sharing and there is 16.3-megapxiel BSI CMOS image sensor and 23 mm wide angle view.
The new gadget is equipped with a touch screen interface with 4.77-inch Super LCD screen, 1080p full HD recording at 30 frames per second, 1650mAh battery, and has HDMI 1.4 output for HDTV connection. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS for geotagging photos and microSD/SDHC/SDXC card slot.
Samsung Galaxy Camera in fact offers Optical Image Stabilization and supports 3200 ISO sensitivity. For users intending to take professional looking photos, there is Smart Pro mode while the Photo Wizard allows use of 35 photo editing features on the go.
Users can easily edit their photos using the camera to fix the brightness and contrast. Users can also crop shots, fix redeye, adding clipart, text and Instagram style frames.
Moreover, users can upload the images they took on various social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter as well as email them to friends through the web access courtesy by the fast Jelly Bean software.
"As we increasingly articulate our experiences through pictures and videos the Galaxy Camera has been created to lead the way in this new era of visual communication," says JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.
Apart from snapping photos, the new Android powered shooter allows user to play games with the device making it a portable gaming console.
Samsung Galaxy Camera is expected to hit the UK tech market in October with an introductory price of £399 or roughly around $635.
