Samsung Galaxy J3 specs and features revealed; offers amazing speed
Its a much improved version of the Galaxy J2
When the Samsung Galaxy J3’s specs and price were leaked last month, Samsung fans were busy buying the Galaxy J2 that rolled-out in September. The J3 has now received certification from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and will soon have a release date in the U.S., reported Latin Post.
FCC cleared Galaxy J3 with build number SM-J3109 but didn’t reveal any photos or more information about the phone’s specs. The FCC, however, stated the upcoming device passed the 3G, 2G and LTE connectivity tests.
Not much is known about the latest J3 but fans are assured of an improved version of the Galaxy J2, reports GeekBench and GFXBench. They can look forward to a bigger and better phone with high-end usability.
According to certain leaked reports, the new J3 will have a 4.7 inch display screen packed with 720 x 1280 HD display. Powered by Qualcomm 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, this new version will offer amazing speed for users to enjoy.
The phone features the Adreno 306 GPU; an 8 GB in-built storage capacity and 1 GB of RAM. The device comes with an 8 MP rear camera having face detection, autofocus and touch focus features to help photo-enthusiasts manifest their shooting skills. Some of the usual features include GPS connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Either of the two OS versions, Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, will be pre-installed before the phone is released. There’s no news about any specific release date, global availability and pricing. Official details will be announced as soon as Samsung decides to formally disclose all information about it.
Samsung has a varied range in its Galaxy J series, namely the J1, J2 and J5. Nonetheless, the company has yet to include a mid-range phone in the series and the Galaxy J3 should fill this vacancy.
