Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 Designed to Kill iPad Air, iPad Mini Retina in 2014 Release Date
Samsung is rumoured to release a new tablet that will kill iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display on its release date.
Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 release date is not confirmed yet. However, it is most likely to make an appearance at either Consumers Electronics Show (CES) or Mobile World Congress (MWC) events next year. However, there is still a possibility that it may be on shelves in time for the holiday season 2013.
This is not the first time that Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 tablet appeared online as it was first rumoured back in September as it was initially expected that Apple and Samsung will have an intense tablet battle. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2. Recently, Apple's iPad received rave reviews for its new tablets.
According to Phone Arena, an FCC filing hinted on some specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2. The tablet will pack a 12.2-inch screen display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution. The tablet will also have 3G and will support 850/1900 MHz frequencies.
As for the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 is rumoured to pack 8 megapixels on the back as 2 megapixels in the front. The tablet will run either with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS or 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.
Reports sighted a Bluetooth sig filing, which could indicate that Samsung are getting ready to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2. As for the design, reports claimed that Samsung Galaxy note 12.2 will borrow some of the designs of iPad Air, probably the slimmer body although Samsung has not revealed concrete details yet.
The previous Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition was launched and received positive reviews thanks to the S Pen function and many other features. If the new tablet will pack the same technologies, it will most likely beat the iPad line.
