Features of the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 2 leaked before the unpacked event of the device.
South Korea's tech giant Samsung will soon introduce the successor of its popular tablet in an unpacked event on Wednesday before the much-awaited IFA event in Berlin, Germany.
According to seoul.co.kr, Galaxy Note 2 will come with a huge 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel camera, 4G LTE support and 16 or 32 GB of internal storage, a quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos chipset and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Last week, Samsung posted a teaser video for the Unpacked event where the company's new smartphone will be introduced. The short video clip centered on the idea of art and how easy it is to create it using the newest technology.
The teaser video of the Galaxy Note 2 features German director Wim Wenders, who emphasizes that the gadget stimulates creativity. Casting a German director is a clue of the IFA 2012 Berlin event.
According to news.mk, this type of display is the predecessor of the flexible displays, which will probably enter mass production in 2013. This new technology will make the device even thinner.
Moreover, the Galaxy Note 2 will have a battery that is more powerful than its successor's. The new phablet will share Samsung Galaxy S3′s platform, with minor hardware and software improvements.
Lastly, there are speculations that the Galaxy Note 2 will be launched in two color variants. A high possibility that the colors will be similar to Samsung Galaxy S3's Pebble Blue and Ivory White.
The South Korea-based tech company decided to an early launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as a strategy to draw the public's attention away from the highly anticipated iPhone 5 launch rumored to be on September 12.
