Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users in the United States will likely get a firmware bump up soon, which will upgrade the Multi-View capability of the bestselling phablet, reports said.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the popular multitasking feature of the Note 2 will soon accommodate more apps, allowing users more choice of viewing or working on two software windows in a single phone screen.

"For the Galaxy Note II - there is a software update coming soon that will include additional apps that can use the multi view feature," GBM quoted Verizon official as saying.

It is not clear, however, when the file update will be dispatched or if the reconfigure is part of the Note 2's climb to Android 4.2.2. Currently, the large-screen Samsung smartphone runs on JellyBean 4.2.1.

Other Galaxy smartphone renditions of Multi-View deliver support for popular apps like Chrome, YouTube and Facebook, which are the additions that Note 2 owners can expect from the impending enhancement.

The same report also suggested that Verizon will also lineup the Galaxy S4 for the Multi-View improvement though the new Samsung flagship is already set to rollout with the latest JellyBean version.

"We haven't announced the details for the S4 yet. We can confirm that it will have the Multi-View feature," Verizon told GBM in a statement.

Earlier, Samsung has pledged that most of the new features introduced via the GS4 will be extended to other Galaxy handsets, provided their hardware can accommodate the software jump.

These added premiums will be let out at the soonest possible time, Samsung said.

The company is expected to redesign or refresh its previous Galaxy offerings in the immediate aftermath of the GS4 and the Galaxy Note 3 2013 debut.

The approach aims to keep the sales figures rising, which so far proved essential for both Apple's and Samsung's revenue performances.
