Pre-requisites

4. Download the rooting kit designed for your Galaxy Note 3 variant by clicking its model number:

a. Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 or 3G version

b. Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 or LTE version

Rooting Procedure

1. Extract files on your computer.

2. Launch the Odin tool.

3. Switch off your Galaxy Note 3 and reboot it into download mode by pressing Volume down and Home keys at the same time. An Android logo will appear on the screen indicating the download mode.

4. Connect the phablet to the computer using its USB cable.

5. Inside the Odin tool, click the "PDA" section then select the extracted rooting package.

6. Hit the "Start" button to begin rooting your Galaxy Note 3. It may take up to 3 minutes to complete the process.

7. Once the device has been rooted, disconnect if from the computer and download an application called "Root Checker" from the Play Store to determine if your phablet has been successfully rooted.

8. If not, reapply the procedure till the phablet gains root access.
