Samsung's upcoming phablet widely referred to as Galaxy Note 3 is speculated to be released next week and consumers desire a longer battery life compared to the device's predecessor.

A new rumour is circulating the Internet claiming that Samsung's phablet Galaxy Note 3 will be unveiled in a press event in London on June 20.

There were speculations that Samsung will finally introduce the much awaited Galaxy Note 3 at the said event. It is initially reported that the South Korea-based tech giant will unveil the miniature Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini in the press launch but it was already slipped in the market without a glamorous launch party.

However, consumers are also expecting the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom to be announced next week, but it was made official this morning, which means Samsung only has a few devices that we know about to announce at their event, these include the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2, and we are expecting to see both devices show up.

Aside from the rumours, consumers wish for longer battery life compared to Samsung Galaxy Note 2. One of the most common complaints of heavy app users of Galaxy Note series is the fast depleting battery of the device. It is reported that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with over 4,000 mAh battery.

It is initially reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to make its debut in the third quarter of this year. Rumours point to possible September release date. There are speculations that Samsung will hold the announcement of the Note 3 on the annual IFA event in Berlin. The said launch will allow Samsung to maximize its profits and to complete the tried-and-tested September product cycle of the Galaxy Note series.

Some of the rumoured specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are: 6.3-inch Full HD screen display; unbreakable, flexible screen; 8-core Exynos 5 Octa processor chip; stylus And finger hovering feature; Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS; 16 megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and BSI and 3 megapixel front camera with 'Best Photo,' 'Best Faces,' low light show and BSI; 32, 64 and 128 GB internal memory options expandable storage via microSD cards; 4,000 mAh Li-on battery.
