Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is now rumoured to have an Optical Image Stabilisation camera to provide better quality images and videos while Nokia Lumia 925 has finally installed a PureView camera with Optical Image Stabilisation plus dual-LED flash. Which one device can capture better image and astounding design?

Samsung Galaxy Note Optical Image Stabilisation Camera

According to reports, the upcoming phablet could be fitted with an optical image stabilisation camera or OIS and thus, allow the device to capture better quality on images and video recording.

This feature was suppose to be included to the original Samsung Galaxy S4 and now it may be available to a variant called Galaxy S4 Zoom suggested to have 10x zoom capability. The challenge to this OIS on Galaxy Note 3 is the possibility of causing the device to bulk up which cannot be afforded by Samsung to happen.

Nokia Lumia 925 has already incorporated the same camera feature except the maker retained the thin and slim chassis indicating that is it possible.

ETNews confirmed not only the OIS but also the 13MP camera and 3x optical zoom. Since no one have seen the real form and features of the Galaxy Note 3, rumours keep on growing if Samsung can really make the changes for their phablet line up against the emerging technologies in camera of Nokia.

Nokia Lumia 925

This 4.5-inch OLED smartphone with 1.5GHz dual-core CPUs, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage may not even withstand the real performance against Galaxy Note 3. But in terms of imagery, Lumia 925 might stand a chance.

The Windows Phone has 8.7MP PureView camera, optical image stabilisation technology and dual-LED flash. Nokia also added a sixth lens on top of its five plastic lenses which would be made out of glass.

Nokia also allowed Smart Camera mode as a default camera on Windows Phone and will alter the onscreen UI of the camera then can make it shoot 10 images with new motion focus feature that lets user to blur, remove or change images in the background.

Nokia Lumia 928 and 920 are one of the biggest concentrations in camera technology among mobile devices. Microsoft and Nokia are aiming to market the intensity of camera features offered by Lumia devices.

Warner Brothers and Nokia also signed together for a strategic marketing on the upcoming movie - The Man of Steel. Lumia 925 owners will not only get outstanding camera features but also exclusive Superman content right out of their mobile phone.

Galaxy Note 3 and Lumia 925

Nokia Lumia devices with Carl Zeiss lens and PureView technology made great impression on the world of mobile cameras. Samsung is developing the biggest change on their Galaxy Note line and would be the first time to add a powerful camera to the Galaxy Note 3.

Till now, no images captured by the Note 3 have been exposed on how well it is or if it can beat Lumia 925's own shots. Unless, Samsung includes such as powerful camera lens used by professional photographers, then that makes Galaxy Note 3 a tablet, a phone and a DSLR-like camera combined in one single form.
