Reports claim that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will have a different design compared to its predecessors and leaks spreading now are allegedly "fake". In addition, the device may be released as early as July this year.

An inside source according to Knowyourmobile.com claims that Samsung confirmed faked photos of the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 which are now spreading in the Web.

"I don't know much about the device except to say it will have completely different design," according to the insider.

After the release of Galaxy S4, many expected a totally different design however, when it was released, the device looked very similar to the Galaxy S4. Then rumours are now eyeing the Galaxy Note 3 with several leaks which tagged as faked or decoy designs.

New Design Concept of Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Analyst Paul Mueller said he doesn't believe in the 5.9-inches screen display rumour and he thinks Samsung will do something with the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 similar to what the company did with Galaxy S4. Possible same size with the previous generation but has a larger screen display and a narrower bezel. This means that the Galaxy Note may only have 5.7-inches of screen display.

Exynos 5 No More

The octa-core Exynos 5 processor may not be included to the new design concept of the Galaxy Note 3 according to a new report. The new report included to two possible reasons why Samsung will omit the Exynos 5 processor chip - production problem or cost-effectiveness of Snapdragon 800.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 has a quad-core Krait processor with clock speed up to 2.3GHz and features the new Adreno 330 GPU and built-in LTE.

"It leverages Asymmetrical Multi-Processing (aSMP) design to produce amazing results. Select a task and one of the four cores will snap into action. Each core can throttle up and down depending on the task. The result is increased in battery efficiency and a whole lot of performance," claimed by Qualcomm.

New Release Date

From new design concept to new processor, another new report said that Samsung Galaxy Note may be launched by July or August this year. The upcoming Galaxy Note is expected to be launched at IFA 2013 on September at Berlin, Germany, following the traditions of the two previous generations of Galaxy Note models.

However, a new report from Digitimes suggests that the South Korean tech giant may plan to launch the device as soon as July or August. It may also pattern to last year's Galaxy Note 2 launch which happened in August.

The source had been correct in several occasions on their publications but having two launch dates is difficult to confirm without specific dates given. If not within these time frame, the device at most will appear at IFA 2013 this September 2013 in Berlin, Germany.
