Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date is reported to coincide with the launch of other smartphones such as Sony Xperia Honami and HTC One Max.

Several sources reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date is on IFA 2013 event in Berlin, Germany, which is also the rumoured release date of other handsets from Sony and HTC.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was expected to be released on September 4 at the IFA event in Berlin. According to tech website Android Geeks, Samsung will apparently send out invites to the media sometime in August for a Samsung Unpacked event.

This strategy was similar to the one Samsung employed with the Galaxy Note 2 - Samsung held an Unpacked Event where the phablet was unveiled right before IFA 2012 kicked off. IFA 2013 was schedule to run from Sept. 6 to 11.

Some of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumoured specs and features were: screen display between 5.5 inches to 6.3 inches and full HD, AMOLED screen. There were reports that the screen display is either unbreakable or flexible.

The device was powered by a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor chip paired with 3 GB RAM. Moreover, it will run the latest 4.2.2 version of Jelly Bean OS or upcoming Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS. It will have a 13 megapixel rear camera with auto focus.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will likely to be available in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants with expandable storage via a micro SD slot. The device will include its famous S-Pen stylus and finger hovering feature as well as a long-lasting 4,000 mAh Li-on battery.

The HTC phablet, known as HTC One Max, will include a 5.9-inch Full HD display, 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, etc. Sony Xperia Honami was rumoured to come with 20.7 MP rear camera as well as some of the features of Sony Xperia Z.
