Tech enthusiasts eagerly await the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. There have been leaks of the gadget in the past few days adding to the anticipation. The release date of the device could be the Sept 4. Customers and analysts have their expected specs of the device.

Although it has not been confirmed by the company, analysts are almost certain that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be released in an event that Samsung calls "Unpacked 2013 Episode 2."

The event is reported to be taking place both in Berlin as well as New York City. There is the IFA Consumers Electronic show happening in Berlin at the time of the Samsung event. Times Square is reportedly chosen as the place for the "Unpacked" event.

There have been some strong indicators by the company that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be unveiled at this event. The catch phrase for the Samsung event has been "Note the date."

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumoured to come with a 5.9 inch OLED screen. The screen resolution is said to be 1080 x 1920 pixels, if the reports are right, this could be the first phone to sport an OLED display.

The device is rumoured to come in two variants, one with a Snapdragon 800 processor and the other with Exynos 5 Octa-core processor. The Exynos 5 processor is not expected to be available immediately.

The rumours also suggest that the device will come with a 2.5 GB RAM. It is said to be running on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

In the past few weeks there have been leaks of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 showing the image of the back panel. There has also been a leak of the alleged wallpaper paper of the device.
