On Sept 4, the purported unveiling day for the second Samsung flagship - the Galaxy Note 3, the third-generation phablet will take centre-stage flexing the latest Android muscle - the Jelly Bean 4.3.

This according to respectable Sammy gadget news leaker SamMobile, pointing to a DLNA certification that details key specs of a Samsung device bearing the model number SM-N900. It describes a mobile digital product that runs on Jelly Bean 4.3 with Wi-Fi connectivity.

SM-N900 has long been associated to the rumoured smartphone and if the SamMobile lead pans out, the Note 3 will end up as the first Samsung flagship to boast of the latest Android build right out of the production line.

Of course, the Galaxy S4 Google Edition has started absorbing the same Android sweets but as everyone knows, this GS4 variant is the product of the collaboration between Samsung and Google.

Jelly Bean 4.3 on the Note 3 is purely a Samsung breakthrough, further cementing the Asian tech giant's edge over its Android rivals.

The same report also provided what could prove as the official and superlative specs that the Note 3 is bringing to the table, potentially overwhelming its nearest Android challengers namely the LG G2, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and the HTC One Max.

As expected, the phablet will sport a screen that stretches between 5.7-inch to six inches with a 1080p resolution, thanks mostly to its Full HD Super AMOLED display engine. Firing up this crisp screen rendering is the combo of an 8-core Exynos 5420 CPU and a quad-core Snapdragon 800.

The chip processors, of course, will be deployed separately and distribution will depend on market location. What scheme to be followed on which destination to get the Exynos or Snapdragon flavour remains a mystery that only Samsung knows to date.

Although the South Korean tech firm could simply replicate the Galaxy S4 distribution model, in which the U.S., Europe and select markets got the Qualcomm-powered GS4 while specific Asian markets were given the chance to taste the raw power of Exynos.

Regardless, Samsung has indicated that whatever the powerhouse that the Note 3 comes with, users will get the same experience - a powerful gadget that is up to the demanding tasks and will stay on as long as possible in a single charge. Both Exynos and Snapdragon are known to operate with emphasis on efficient use of battery energy.

And they will be paired with a 3GB of RAM that pretty much ensures that the Note 3 will behave in a snappy manner and minus the occasional lags. Internal storage menu is a choice between 16GB and 32GB with expansion option of up to 64GB, thanks to a microSD slot.

It appears too that before Samsung gets the chance of dispatching a GS4 variant with LTE-Advanced, this superfast wireless broadband technology will be first showcased via the monster Galaxy phablet.

As in the first two versions, the stylus mainstay - the S-Pen - will be part of the deal but with great deal of enhancements this time, which should complement many of the Smart Premium Suite features introduced earlier this year via the GS4.

Unwrapping is definitely a go on Sept 4 with Samsung using the 2013 IFA event in Berlin as the Galaxy Note 3 platform while actual release date will follow in the immediate weeks ahead, likely by late September or early October.
