The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 preorders began in South Korea on September 18 and the highly anticipated smartphone of the year will be released this coming Friday in the home country. The three leading carriers of South Korea, which includes SK Telecom, KT and LG U+, started with the Galaxy Note 4 preorders on Sept 18.

Before the preorders had begun, Samsung had assigned set number of Note 4 units to each of the three carriers. According to CNET, the preorder supplies of the Galaxy Note 4 for SK Telecom, KT and LG U+ have totally exhausted.

SK Telecom is the largest carrier in South Korea, which has a market share of 50.3 percent. It managed to sell all of its Note 4 supplies in only nine hours. The other two carriers took three days to finish their quota.

Now that the carriers have emptied their quota, the Note 4 is unavailable for preorders, reveals GSMArena. Instead of preordering the Note 4 in South Korea, buyers can wait until the coming Friday to purchase the phablet through retail and online stores.

Apple has revealed to the media that in the very first weekend of releasing the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the Cupertino has managed to sell 10 million units of both the handsets. Both handsets are being praised for their appearance and features. Samsung definitely wants to give good competition to the rivals.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note Edge during the IFA tradeshow that was held last September 3 in Berlin.

The Note 4 features a good-looking metal frame on its edges and a 5.7-inch displays screen that support quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The international edition of the Note 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 805 chipset. The South Korean Galaxy Note 4 edition is powered by Exynos 5433 octa-core processor.

The off-contract price of Galaxy Note 4 in South Korea is 957,000 Korean Won, which equates to $920. Compared to all the previous Note handsets, the Note 4 is the most affordable Note flagship in South Korea. The Galaxy Note 3, which came out in 2013, was launched with a price tag of 1,067,000 million, which equates to $1,025.
