Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date in September at the IFA event to battle head on with iPhone 6 phablet.
Latest reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will wait for a full year product cycle for its formal unveiling, according to Trusted Reviews. For the past two years, the Berlin-based tech event has become the launch platform for the Galaxy Note phablets.
A Samsung official told The Korea Times, "Samsung is considering holding a launch event of the Note 4 at the IFA trade fair. It is in the middle of finalising specification details for the upcoming phablet."
The rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will pack some of the latest and top-of-the-line features in order to out best the rumoured iPhone 6 phablet from Samsung's rival, Apple. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will feature a metal casing and a water resistant body just like in Samsung Galaxy S5.
Samsung's phablet will also pack a new, 20-megapixel back camera, Snapdragon 805 processor and, potentially, a 2560 x 1440 pixel WQHD display. Lastly, the Note 4 will sport the trademarked S-Pen stylus. Recent Samsung patents revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will benefit from advanced handwriting recognition.
Meanwhile, other rumoured features of the Samsung Galaxy Note are its signature massive, full HD 1080p screen display. There were also whispers that the phablet will sport a "bent" three-sided display to provide different viewing angles. Just like its brother, Samsung Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 4 will also pack a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button and the IP67 certified design that is water and dust resistant.
Consumers can expect that the Galaxy Note 4 will come with a powerful processor - either the Snapdragon 805 or Samsung's new Exynos processor. The new phablet will be built apt for multitasking and gaming that will require powerful and efficient processors. The processor will be paired with at least 3GB of RAM.
