Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Soon as Samsung Google Glass Comes out, Note 4 Designs Leaked
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been making headlines especially with reports about its new form factor. With the release reportedly during the IFA 2014 in Berlin, new reports indicate that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will launch with the company's take on Google Glass. What can people expect?
According to a report by BGR, Samsung will release its take on the Google Glass this coming fall. Both devices, the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Gear, will launch at the IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany. Business Korea reported that a Samsung associate revealed the possible joint release. The IFA event has always been a venue for the Korean tech giant to reveal its Galaxy Note offerings.
More importantly, during 2013's IFA the company has also announced the Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 3. It might become a tradition for Samsung to announce both devices at this time every year.
"We rolled out the smartwatch first, and have secured a considerable amount of smart glass-related technology and patents," Business Korea quoted an unidentified Samsung associate.
"Following the roll out of our smart watch Galaxy Gear in September last year, we are slated to introduce our smart glass Gear Glass this September."
Gear Glass will feature the next-gen Tizen operating system plus an earpiece and display system. The system can allow people to listen through their right ear while also viewing the display using the right eye. Samsung has not yet released images or other hardware details about the wearable device.
G for Games also reported about two blueprints showing what the next Samsung Galaxy S4 will look like. According to the report, the device may be the first under Samsung to come with the 3-sided Youm display. Samsung has already filed a number of Youm-based patents hinting the company's shift in its design philosophy. The Korean tech giant has not made an official announcement about the final details of the Note 4 and Galaxy Gear.
