Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Update, To Feature ISOCELL Technology, AMOLED Display, 2560 x 1440 and More
Samsung just released its Galaxy Note 3 but Samsung Galaxy Note 4 started making headlines already. While some think it is too early to look into the Note 4, there are several leaks worth checking. According to new reports, the new device will feature ISOCELL technology, AMOLED Display and will launch around September 2014. Is it worth waiting for?
While Samsung may announce the device during the Mobile World Congress 2014, it is still likely the device will launch around September. There are more reports confirming the first quarter release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 than the Galaxy Note 4. Considering production delays, consumers should allot a few weeks after September for the final release according to analysts.
One of the most interesting features about the Note 4 is the camera. A Samsung executive revealed recently at a conference in Seoul that they plan on including a 16MP ISOCELL camera. According to previous reports, Samsung claimed that their ISOCELL technology will be groundbreaking. The technology will render image quality not seen before.
ISOCELL uses individual pixel isolation to provide great quality images. With the technology, Samsung can improve the camera's light sensitivity on BSI sensors. The camera can shoot high quality photos even in low light conditions. The images feature more natural colors. The 16MP ISOCELL sensors will come with 1.12 micron pixels. This is lightly lower compared to Apple's iPhone 5s.
The market has seen its fair share of devices with top notch cameras. These include the Nokia Lumia 1020 with 41MP pureView camera plus optical image stabilization and Sony Xperia Z1 with its 20.7MP camera. Samsung claimed that the Galaxy Note 4 and other devices featuring their 16MP ISOCELL camera will join this lineup.
Samsung has been reportedly working on a 64-bit processor. When Apple released their A7 chipset, there has been pressure among tech manufacturers to produce something well performing. Analysts say that once Samsung finishes its 64-bit processor, it will power their next generation smartphones and tablets. Since Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be released later in 2014, it can sport the new chip possibly.
Samsung has also claimed that all devices for 2014 release will feature AMOLED displays offering 2560 x 1440 resolution. People will have to wait for further announcements from Samsung for final details.
