Samsung is in the headlines for its upcoming releases. The South Korean tech giant will be releasing its Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5 in the first quarter of 2014. The two devices will share similar features and functionalities according to the latest reports.

Previously, Samsung decided to incorporate similar camera technology and functions in its Samsung Galaxy Note series and Galaxy S series. Analysts expected Samsung to include the same 16MP in the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note 4. There were reports citing Samsung acquired 181 million 16MP modules. It seems the tech giant is working on several units to feature the camera.

There were other reports claiming Samsung will include the OIS feature in the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Although there were no official announcements yet but leaks have been surfacing.

According to a report by GalaxyS5Info, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 may both feature wireless charging. Apple has been reported to patent a new technology allowing wireless charging so it might be possible for Samsung to do the same. Likewise, analysts think Samsung will want to play as close as possible to what Apple has in store. The tech giant's iPhone 5 and 5s series have been well received. Since the introduction of Apple's TouchID, there are predictions saying the South Korean tech leader will also include a biometric fingerprint scanner.

ET News Korean Web site reported Samsung could be pairing up with PowerByProxy to include wireless technology in its upcoming devices. TechRadar reported otherwise saying Samsung still needs some work done on its wireless. The tech may be ready around mid 2014. Samsung Galaxy S5 may fall behind in terms of wireless tech as the company still continues to work on its adoption.

Samsung has not confirmed what time of operating system the two devices will have. The most likely candidate will be Android 4.4 KitKat. If Google will release a new operating system then that could also be considered.

It is important for consumers to understand that these are predictions from analysts and leads/leaks. They will have to wait for Samsung's official announcement to know the final details.
