Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. HTC One M8: Should You Buy Now or Wait for Phablet?
HTC released its new flagship phone last month but it has to battle out with other smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
HTC One M8 received fair reviews. Just like last year, HTC was able to pull off making a handset with favourable specs and features. The device was well-liked by reviewers and critics, However, this did not translate much into sales.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most awaited smartphones this year. Rumours said that the phablet will be released later this year in September. The phablet is anticipated to pack improved features compared to its predecessor.

Screen Display
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was rumoured to pack an even bigger screen display. There were reports that the phablet will come with a three-fold screen display. HTC One M8, on the other hand, packed a 5-inch Full HD, 1080p screen display.
Processor
Samsung's fourth generation of phablet will be powered by an eight core chipset either from Exynos or Qualcomm. HTC's new flagship phone was powered by 2.3 GHz Krait 400.
Operating System
Both devices will be powered by Google's Android operating system. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have the latest Android OS. But, based on track record, HTC tend to roll out updates faster compared to Samsung. HTC One M8 runs with the latest 4.4.2 Kitkat OS.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will receive a big jump on its camera. It was speculated that the Note 4 will pack an either 16MP or 20MP rear shooter. Meanwhile, HTC One M8 retained its 4 Ultrapixels camera at the back.
Battery
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 may pack a bigger battery capacity of more than 3,000 mAh. HTC One M8, on the other hand, was equipped with 2,600 mAh battery.
