Samsung has added two new color options to its flagship Galaxy Note 5 phablet. Starting Oct. 23, the Note 5 will also be available in Silver Titanium and Pink Gold colour variants.

For the time being, however, the new colours will only be available in Samsung’s home market of South Korea. Samsung said the Pink Gold version will go on sale with only 64 GB internal storage capacity for 965,800 won (AU$1171), according to SammyHub.

The Galaxy Note 5 in Silver Titanium will be available for purchase in 32 GB and 64 GB storage capacities at a price tag of 899,800 won (AU$1091) and 965,800 won (AU$1171), respectively.

Samsung has yet to announce when it will market the new colour options in other countries. It’s worth mentioning the introduction of new colours will make Samsung Galaxy Note more competitive against Apple’s popular Rose Gold iPhone 6s.

The Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution screen (518 pixels per inch) along with 4 GB of RAM. The handset is powered by the Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core SoC and comes with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage options. Availability of storage option is dependent on regions.

The 16 MP rear camera with dual LED flash is backed by optical image stabilisation. The handset is shipped with a massive non-removable 3,000mAh battery. The 4G LTE connected device comes with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, reports Android Headlines.

The Black colour variant of the Galaxy Note 5 with 32 GB of storage capacity is massively discounted on eBay. The handset is available at $570 (AU$780) with shipment to Australia, Asia, Brazil, Canada, Europe and Mexico.
