Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Lite with cheaper price will come with high-end specifications and features

Samsung is speculated to release two Galaxy Note 6 models. One of them will be a high-end phablet featuring topnotch specs and dual-edge curved screen whereas the other one would be packed with slightly low-end specifications and features.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 models will be sporting 5.8-inch screen. However, the dual-edge variant is expected to support Quad HD resolution. On other side, the low-end Galaxy Note 6 Lite will feature a flat screen that deliver full HD resolution, Slash Gear reported.

The Galaxy Note 6 Lite will be fueled by Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB RAM. It is the same chipset and RAM combination that drives most flagships of 2016 such as Galaxy S7, LG G5, HTC 10, and more.

Rumors indicate that the high-end Galaxy Note 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 823 SoC and 6 GB of RAM. The SD 823 SoC is said to be overclocked variant of SD 820 that can deliver processing speeds of up to 3.0 GHz.

It is interesting to note that smartphone OEMs have used Snapdragon 652 chipset to power low-end variants of flagship smartphones. For instance, the HTC 10 Lifestyle, a low-end model of HTC 10 features SD 652 chip. Also, the LG G5 SE featuring SD 652 SoC is a stripped down version of LG G5. Rumours are also hinting that the Note 6 Lite will be coming with an affordable price compared to that the dual-edge screen variant of Note 6.

The Galaxy Note 6 is speculated to be the first phone from the company to arrive with a USB Type-C port. The Gear VR headset that is currently available in the market features a microUSB port. It can be used with all the latest Samsung flagship phones like Galaxy S7 models, Galaxy S6 models, Galaxy Note 5, and Galaxy S6 Edge+ through microUSB port.

Since the Galaxy Note 6 will be featuring a USB Type-C port, the rumour mill is also predicting that the South Korean company may launch a new Gear VR headset that will feature a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy Note 6 is also expected to house a huge battery of 4200 mAh capacity
