Samsung Galaxy Note 6 specs update: 4,200mAh battery power anticipated
If speculations are to be believed, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 6 could be a path breaking device with enormous specifications. The phablet is rumoured to house a gigantic 4,200mAh battery unit to power the device.
Along with a humongous battery capacity, the Galaxy Note 6 will probably come with support for fast charging, as reported by GizmoChina. Other reports also indicate that the Note 6 could last for almost 48-hours on a single charge.
Even if the device hosts a huge battery cell, the longevity depends largely on other specifications including display size, screen resolution and processor which primarily eat up the power.
Samsung is slated to release the Galaxy Note 6 with USB Type-C port onboard. The Korean tech giant is yet to launch a smartphone with the advanced new port. However, there is no confirmation on the USB protocol to be supported by the device.
The Galaxy Note 6 will also reportedly come with up to 256 GB internal storage capacity. Rumours are rife that Samsung will include an expandable memory slot which it dropped for the Galaxy Note 5, just like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
The upgraded version of the latest Qualcomms Snapdragon 820 chipset is pegged to power the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 6. The new Snapdragon 823 processor is believed to come with support for up to 8GB of RAM.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 6 could be the first ever smartphone to house 6GB of RAM, according to unconfirmed reports. The forthcoming phablet is said to feature 5.8 inch Slim RGB AMOLED display with a Quad HD resolution.
Rumors also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may feature IP68 water resistance and an iris scanner. According to Phone Arena, the Note 6 will arrive in two variants including a curved screen model.
Samsung ha snot yet confirmed the specifications and release date of the rumoured Galaxy Note 6.
