Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs OnePlus 4 phone: Two incredible smartphones to beat in 2017; Reported specs reveal cutthroat competition
Samsung is reportedly bringing an incredible Galaxy Note 8 in 2017 and it is expected to clash with the likes of Apple’s iPhone 8 and also the highly-anticipated OnePlus 4 phone. Even though details about the Note 8 and OnePlus 4 are scarce, rumours are suggesting some very interesting specs for the devices.
According to a Weibo leak, the OnePlus 4 may come in two RAM variants, 6GB and 8GB. It may also be made available in two processor versions, one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset and the other Snapdragon 835, writes BGR.
The OnePlus 4 handset may feature a dual lens camera for mixed and augmented reality features. A glass-body, 4,000 mAh battery, 128GB internal storage and a 5.3-inch 2K AMOLED display are some of the phone’s other features.
Rumours suggest that the OnePlus 4 phone will release sometime next summer. It is also expected to be priced in the same range as Samsung Galaxy S8 and other high-end 2017 releases. It will carry a hefty price tag but its features and specs will be worth the price.
Many believe that the OnePlus 4 will be the phone to beat in 2017 though the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 won’t make it easy for the OnePlus 4 phone. There have been reports that Samsung is looking to turn the Galaxy Note 8 device in to the first flexible smartphone ever, as per Galaxy Note 7 Info.
In terms of battery, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also boast of a mega 4,500 mAh battery, which means the device won’t have any battery issue whatsoever. In terms of display, the Galaxy Note 8 is rumoured to sport an amazing 6.2-inch display that will provide the handset a 90 percent screen-to-body.
The bezel-less Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will sport ultra-high definition visual technology that would probably feature 4K resolution. On the other hand, the OnePlus 4 phone could be endowed with enhanced VR capabilities. A 30MP primary camera is expected in the Galaxy Note 8 though there have been little information on the camera front.
