Samsung added two new big screen devices in their Galaxy line-up, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and features high resolution display. So which one suits you and your budget?

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1

According to GSM Arena, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 runs Android 4.4 KitKat and resembles the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 without the S Pen stylus. It sports 10.1-inches of Super Clear LCD screen, 2560 x 1600 WQXGA display resolution, powered by either Exynos 5 octa or Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing shooter, infrared blaster and 8220 mAh battery which is same as Note 10.1 2014.

In addition, Galaxy Tab Pro will have two variants upon release depending on the processor and internal storage capacity. The Exynos 5 octa variant features Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity while the Snapdragon 800 variant features LTE connection. Both variants regardless of storage size have Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, and GPS + GLONASS and microSD card slot.

Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2

Galaxy Note line will have a bigger brother joining this year - the Galaxy Note Pro with 12.2 inches of screen display. It succeeds the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition with powerful display and improved system features.

Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 boasts 2560 x 1600 display resolution, Snapdragon quad-core processor from Qualcomm or Exynos 5 octa, 3 GB of RAM, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, Android 4.4 KitKat OS and mega packed 9500 mAh battery unit.

It also features the same S Pen stylus used on the Galaxy Note 3 but owners will take advantage of the latest exclusive apps from the Galaxy Note series with Android 4.4 KitKat running them.

One of the new features on the Galaxy Note Pro 12.1 is the TouchWiz Magazine UX that brings redesigned dashboard, home screens and widgets. Some productivity tools such as Cisco WebEx Meetings and Remote PC to connect your computer on-the-go are included on the device.

Two variants will become available - an LTE version powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and Wi-Fi model powered by Exynos 5 octa processors.

Both devices are boasting similar hardware components except the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 that features more virtual memory and battery capacity that aids extended use of exclusive Galaxy Note applications for writing, drawing and sketching.

However, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is expected to be more expensive than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and if you only want to watch movies with great quality, play games or browse the Internet with better display - consider the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 instead; it costs less than Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 for the same desired function.
