Samsung Galaxy Note wowed many fashion editors, bloggers and stylists naming the device as "the ultimate fashion tool."

Samsung invited some of the world's fashion editors, influencers, bloggers and stylists at the ArtPoint's Paris is Burning annual Bastille Day gala in Texas last week. The device impressed many of the guests.

It is clear that the Samsung Galaxy Note has so much to offer, especially to heavy social media users as well as to those creative individuals who are looking for new ways to play and personalize with images and web content.

What attracted the fashionistas to the phone is it allows you to take photos or screen-capture images from the web and then use them to create original collages. Fashion bloggers often rely on Polyvore or Photoshop to create their collages. Galaxy Note offers a new alternative. Moreover, the stylus can be used to scribble notes that can then be translated into text or to add doodles and words to saved images. You can choose different brushes and pens, colors and backgrounds for your notes to make them stand out and look different.

Moreover, the smartphone has a camera with video capabilities as well as a stylus used for scribbling notes, editing and enhancing images and tapping out functions. Galaxy Note is smaller than a tablet, but larger than other phones. Thus, the screen makes it easier to read than the screens of iPhone or Blackberry.

Personal stylist Amanda Castro said that she was excited with the collage feature of the device. She said that she can easily communicate with her clients through pictures without using a website like Pinterest. She said that she will use the device in making her own collages, add notes and send them over email.

Fashion blogger Jennie Lodge said that the web-clipping functionality appealed to her. "I could share a web page or save it for later to read offline," Lodge said.

However, the Galaxy Note also has some drawbacks. One of the disadvantages of the device is its size. It is a lot bigger than other smartphones and it will not easily fit in your pocket. Another disadvantage of the device is the learning curve in knowing how to use the smartphone. Galaxy Note is not user friendly like iPhone; thus, users need to spend ample time in learning the device.
