Samsung Galaxy S3 4.3 Jelly Bean Update Roll Out Later This Month?
Samsung Galaxy S3 4.3 Jelly Bean OS update will be rolling out later this month.
According to tech blog Tekrieg, Samsung Galaxy S3 users in Asia will first receive the update. The roll out is set in the last week of October. Samsung Galaxy S3 users in other parts of the world can expect the update in the following weeks.
The report continued that the 4.3 Jelly Bean update will bring "OpenGL ES 3.0, Bluetooth Smart and improved text input on the keyboard". The update is 100MB when installed in the device. Samsung is reported to be testing the final build of the 4.3 Jelly Bean update to avoid issues and to offer lag free experience to users.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S4 received the official 4.3 Android Jelly Bean update. Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I950 is the handset that received the updates.
The new operating system update brings with it a number of improvements and more than a few fixes for various things. Android 4.3 brings the Galaxy S4 support for OpenGL 3.0 and support for the Galaxy Gear smart watch.
Android 4.3 also brings improved RAM management and preloaded Samsung Wallet. Other tweaks and improvements include improved display color reproduction, and improved TouchWiz launcher, a new Samsung keyboard, enemy Samsung browser.

Most likely, a notification will be received if your device will get the update. The 4.3 Jelly Bean update will be available via Over-The-Air update or through the Samsung Galaxy Kies PC Suite.
