Check out these common complaints that users who have already tried and tested the newest Samsung flagship phone, and see if the solutions do work.

Fast battery drain

A quick and sometimes sudden battery drain is a common complaint amongst users, and a surprising one at that, considering the Samsung Galaxy S4's 2600mAh battery.

Sometimes, it may be the use of service and features such as Google Play Music and Media Service, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

A good solution would be to either disable unused apps when you are using the handset, or opt for a lower brightness, especially when you are in good lighting condition.

For those who can't help the fast battery drain, the Samsung Galaxy S4 comes as a handset with removable battery, so you can easily buy a spare battery for those emergency cases.

Rebooting issues

Even before reaching the majority of its target reach, Samsung Galaxy S4 is already experiencing rebooting issues, which are becoming a growing concern for users.

Mobile & Apps reports that rebooting issues involve failure to seamlessly launch the camera when you go through the widget, rebooting the phone. However, this problem is more of a glitch than a regular occurrence, as after reboots, users have stated that they don't encounter the problem for a while.

This may even result in a software update, in order to truly patch up the bug, though Samsung has not yet released any word on this matter.

Smearing in displays

The Samsung Galaxy S4 display was not absolved of any issues, as Phone Review reports that smearing is also a major concern.

The issue can be seen when a user scrolls down the phone with a black screen. A purplish color to the letters that are displayed is also a sign of the smearing. This problem has been long discussed in the groups, with no solution having been suggested.

However, with regard to the purple smear, The Tech Storm has suggested installing a screen adjuster app that would allow you to set the values of green, blue, and red. Adjust it to 5 and turn the filter on.
